About UsThe LEAF school age programs are developed with your child's interests in mind. This isn't day care for your school ager, it is a learning facility designed to engage your child. Through lessons, workshops, outdoor recreation, and hands-on learning activities, LEAF students acquire new skills and interest that they will carry with them on their path to a more enriched and fulfilling life.

Our History
|
In June 2016, Developmental Preschool and Day Care Center opened a school age program in our building located at 715 Shields, which provides an opportunity for youth development in a fun and caring atmosphere. Licensed for 113 children, enrollment for the 2018 summer program reached 72 children. With continuous renovations and additions, such as the founding of our hoop house garden in 2018, the LEAF programs are in a constant state of growth.
