Lilly is currently working on her bachelor's in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education. She earned her associate degree during the spring of 2022 through Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne and has worked in the Early Childhood field for four years. Some of her goals in teaching are building a bond with the students, creating a safe space, involving hands-on activities, and creating fun experiences that the children will remember. Lilly enjoys watching Marvel movies, drawing, reading, doing homework, and spending time with her family, friends, and animals. She also enjoys going out and exploring nature with her dog when she has free time.
Cyerra was born and raised in Laramie and is a Laramie High School graduate, class of 2023. She plans to attend Laramie County Community College for the spring semester and study Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development. Her goals in teaching are to create meaningful connections with all the students and provide a safe space where everyone feels welcome and included. Her academic curriculum objectives include teaching her students new skills and providing them with activities and experiences that enrich each child’s individual interests. Cyerra wants her students to have fun, participate in engaging activities, and make meaningful memories. Some of her hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, spending time with friends and family, and taking her dogs Milo and Juno to the park.
Gaten is from Worland Wyoming and has spent the last 5 years living in Laramie. He started working as a classroom teacher at LEAF during our summer program in 2023 and loved every minute of it. He is now the lead teacher in the Eagles classroom and is looking forward to all the fun and exciting activities he has planned for the kids this school year. Some of his hobbies include golfing, fishing, watching Marvel movies, going to the gym, and spending time with his family and friends. Gaten’s goals in the classroom are to make it a space where the students can express themselves freely, feel safe, build on prior knowledge, and learn through hands-on experiences. Helping his mom raise his little sister and niece, he was able to teach them skills that they still use today like reading, drawing, and writing.
