Afterschool Program 2024-2025
Through a variety of activities, lessons, and workshops, our afterschool program is focused on extracurricular development in the sciences, arts, and culture. Our highly-trained staff are dedicated to helping your child build real world skills, and explore careers and interests across a multitude of academic disciplines. With innovations and new additions, such as our Hoop House Garden and mural projects, we are continually dedicated to making LEAF a fun and energetic place where kids WANT to be!
Afterschool Program Highlights
- After school snack provided. Breakfast, lunch, and snack provided on "no school days." Lunch and snack on "early release days."
- Open 2:30p - 6:00p on regular school days; 11:30a - 6:00p on early release days; 6:30a - 6:00p on no school days.
- Inquiry-based curriculum with monthly thematic units!
- LEAF Theater Movie Days every other week with Token System where kids can earn and purchase snacks and toys from our Concessions Stand! Popcorn included!
- Social-emotional Learning! Using evidence-based practices, we aim to support each child’s social-emotional growth with a primary focus on building strong relationships, teaching emotional regulation, and creating positive, proactive environments.
- Fitness Fridays with fun activities to keep your child active and healthy!
